Delivery: email, Slack, Teams, Roam and Google Chat
Schedules, time zones, recipients, email delivery, chat webhooks, unsubscribes and custom sending domains.
Each edition has its own schedule and channels at Editions›(edition). Recipients live at Settings›Delivery & recipients.
Schedules and time zones

Pick a delivery time (default 7:30) and any IANA time zone. Schedules are DST-safe: a time that doesn’t exist on the spring-forward day moves forward an hour. Paperbeam starts work 20 minutes ahead so the paper lands on time. If a slot is missed by more than 12 hours (for example while billing was paused), it is skipped, not sent late.
Editions are sent from "Your Paper" <paper@your-workspace.paperbeam.ai>. Every email carries one-click unsubscribe headers (RFC 8058) and a footer link. Unsubscribing is instant and shows on the recipients page.
Adding recipients
Paste addresses, or a CSV with name,email columns. Your plan’s reader band (50, 250, 1,000 or unlimited) counts active recipients plus people who signed in to read in the last 30 days.
Department editions
A department edition (Growth and up) reaches recipients tagged for that edition. If nobody is tagged, it goes to every recipient.
Slack, Teams, Roam and Google Chat
Chat channels receive a front-page card with the lede and links to the full edition. Each one uses an incoming webhook URL, which must be https. Use Test to send a sample card.

Each channel is delivered independently: a failing Slack webhook never blocks email. Every send goes through a send ledger keyed by edition, channel and target, so retries and re-sends never post twice.
Custom sending domain
Growth, Business and Enterprise
Send from your own domain, for example paper@news.acme.com. Today this is set up with our help: email support@paperbeam.ai with the domain, and we send you the DKIM, SPF (return path) and DMARC records to add. Once they verify, editions switch over. Self-serve verification in the app is coming.
When delivery pauses
Deliveries stop, while editions are still generated for the archive, when:
- a payment has been past due for 7 days or more (see Billing);
- the workspace is paused or canceled;
- Paperbeam support pauses deliveries during an incident. We tell you on the status page.
